Who Is Online

The 1.6 Documentation is no longer maintained and some information may be outdated.

The MyBB 1.6 series reached end of life on October 1, 2015.

This means there will be no more security or maintenance releases for these series and forums running these versions of MyBB may be at risk of unfixed security issues. All administrators are strongly encouraged to upgrade their forums to the latest release of MyBB as soon as possible.

WOL on the Index
Who Is Online Complete List

The Who's Online List (WOL) is shown on the Portal, Index Page, and in detail on its own page accessible from the Index Page.

Essentially, the WOL shows each user that is visiting the forum at that time. On the Portal and Index pages, only the usernames are shown. On the 'Complete List' the last location and access time are shown.

Invisible users (users who have hidden their online status) will not be shown on the list, unless the user viewing the WOL has the permission to do so (by default the Administrators, Super Moderators, and Moderators). Invisible users will be marked with an asterisk ('*') at the end of their username.

An example Who was online today list

On the 'Complete List', it is possible to access the 'Who was online today?' page at the bottom of the WOL.

On this page, all of the members who were online in the past 24 hours are shown.
