System Mail Logs

The 1.6 Documentation is no longer maintained and some information may be outdated.

The MyBB 1.6 series reached end of life on October 1, 2015.

This means there will be no more security or maintenance releases for these series and forums running these versions of MyBB may be at risk of unfixed security issues. All administrators are strongly encouraged to upgrade their forums to the latest release of MyBB as soon as possible.

Tools & Maintenance: System Mail Logs

The System Email Log shows all emails that were generated by MyBB, but failed to send. You are given the subject, the email address the email was sent to, the error message that was returned, and the date sent. Clicking on the subject will allow you to view the message. Clicking on the magnifying glass next to the to address will allow you to filter the logs using that address.

You can also choose to select individual emails to be deleted from the log. Select these emails using the checkbox to the left, and then click on "Delete Selected." If you would like to delete all logs, select "Delete All."

You can filter the system email logs by:

  • Subject (the subject of the email sent)
  • Error message (the error message returned)
  • "To" email address
  • "From" email address
